Little Bitte is excited to join the Ocean State Oyster Festival!
On September 19th, Providence, RI will serve as the backdrop for the inaugural Ocean State Oyster Festival.
A ticket to the Ocean State Oyster Festival will buy you a half-dozen locally sourced oysters from an array of RI-based growers and a local micro-brew beer or glass of wine. Iced tea, coffee, and plenty of water will be on-hand also. There will be live music, a shucking contest, food trucks, and a kid-friendly zone all alongside the Providence River boardwalk. Stay tuned for a list of participating oyster farms & vendors!

The Ocean State Oyster Festival aims to raise awareness of, and celebrate, Rhode Island’s aquaculture industry; Provide a platform that helps expand Rhode Island’s aquaculture economy; Support education programs for the public on the environmental sustainability of Narragansett Bay (in partnership with Save the Bay).
